Big Bags

Zoey has had a few really bad nights the last few nights. We are not sure what is going on, but she gets really cranky about 6-7pm and then is still crying when we give her a bath about 8pm. Once we feed her and put her down, she is a bit better. Then she wakes up about 12-1am and has a hard time going back to bed. This is not fun at all and we are not sure what is going on. We have not changed anything, well except we put her formula in the bigger bags, the large size drop-in's, but I doubt that could make a difference.

Time will tell.

All is lost...

Unlike the spherical chewy core of a Tootsie pop, the center of the magic eight ball is just a tube filled with water, blue dye, and a 20-sided die. My entire grounding in reality has been destroyed. I would turn to the 8-ball for guidance in these dark times, but now I know I would simply be subject to the whims of icosahedron floating in some blue water. All is lost.

Sleeping the night

Zoey is sleeping the night, well almost. She gets to bed about 9pm and wakes up at about 5am. This is MUCH better then the 2am and 4am wake up times she had just a few days ago. I hope that this continues.

Another weekend another fun time...

This weekend, Zoey seems to be able to sit up on her own. That is when she is laying down on some pillows; she can pull herself up and sit up. From what I can tell, this is a skill that most 3 months old do not have yet. I guess she is strong.

Also, she is starting to like her swing more. It used to just sit there and gather dust. She would go in it for a minute or so and then get annoyed. This weekend she noticed the mirror and birds above her head and stared at it for a good ten to twenty minutes. I think this will be another toy in her rotation, there used to be one, the baby Einstein thing and now this. Crazy cool.

New Pictures and new Bottles

We finally got the new pictures from JC Penny, and they will be up at www.zoeyblonsky.com in the next day or so. They are super cute and my Niece looks adorable with Zoey.

Also, we decided to step up Zoey's intake to more then 4 ounces. That means that we needed to get bigger bottles. The bottles that we used to use were the Playtex drop in type that had a capacity of 4 ounces. We chose those bottle types because the nipple is large and Zoey seems to like them better. The smaller normal looking nipples that we tried, are ok, but Zoey just plays with them and they just flop out of her mouth. She is just too silly.

So the new bottles are really big and can go up to 10 ounces. We only bought a few, so we will see how she like them and then perhaps get more if we decide that we need to. Ok, I am at work, and I guess I should do that and not this, so off I go.

Tough nights

We have been having a few bad nights lately. We are not sure what is going on, but Zoey seems to wake up every ten minutes or so just screaming like crazy. I know this is getting to Heather, and it is getting to me too. I really hope she starts to get back into a pattern and starts to sleep the night. That would be awesome!

Weekend is over.

The weekend is over. Michael and his new girlfriend is home. Zoey was fussy all weekend and it went ok, but if she was less fussy, it would have been better. Oh well. We have some good videos and pictures which I will put up in the next few days. The reason it will take so long, is that I got the reverse osmosis system that I need to put in first. Back to Zoey, She wore her Easter bunny ears and was really cute. She had a little dress on that matched her cousin, Isabella.

This week we are going to Blue Man Group and we are having Deb watch her that night. That will be lots of fun, a night out without the baby! Not that we don't like her or what to pass her off, but it is nice to get out alone, just Mommy and Daddy time.

Speaking of Mommy and Daddy, I have been repeating over and over, Daddy, Daddy... so that Zoey's first word will be, you guessed it Daddy! We will keep you informed.

New pictures coming soon

For the last two days Zoey has visited her grandparents house. We decided to stop by when her Aunt, Tami watched her on Wednesday and then stopped by again Thursday night.

The reason Aunt Tami watched Zoey was because they decided to get pictures taken at J.C. Penny's with Zoey's cousin Isabella. I have seen the thumbnails, and they turned out just great. We will post them as soon as they go up. Aunt Tami helped out Heather by watching Zoey so Heather could put up pictures in the house. We had lots of old pictures, but now we have new ones up and they look great. They are above the couch in the TV room. I will attach a photo when I get a chance.

Last night, we drove over to pick up the truck because Uncle Michael is visiting today through the weekend, and it is nice to have an automobile for him to drive. We are all looking forward to Michael coming in so he can see Zoey and play with her.
